My sculptures are true "accidents". The way I make them is completely uncontrollable, at least initially. Sticks, string and wax, I start tying bits together. As the structure gets stronger I can start to move out into what might be a limb or a form that can support other shapes. It's like making a chair but starting with one leg, adding the seat and trying to hold it all together before it collapses.
